Nordhold is an indie, turn-based strategy game developed by StunForge. I was gifted a game key to play on Steam. I played this game in March 2025.

This game is a fun challenge if you enjoy tower defense games. With ever growing waves of enemies that become faster and stronger, you grow your resources and population, while placing towers to protect your Nordic village. There are over 20 buildings to chose from that can be upgraded, and you have to be strategic with placement for resource efficiency. I found it entertaining at the beginning, but after a few hours, the lack of variety made the game experience dull. If you enjoy tower defense games, you can check out the demo on Steam before buying.
