Review of Chocolate Factory Simulator
I received a review key for Chocolate Factory Simulator (available on Steam). Developed by Games Incubator, the game is unique with it’s steampunk style. As much as I wanted to love this game, as I enjoy the steampunk fantasy theme, I struggled to really get into it. The game was released needing many updates and fixes. The developer did a number of changes and improvements, but it still didn’t get to a point where it was entertaining enough for me. The different machinery to use for mixing, and creating chocolates is neat, but I grew tired of managing, and the robot doesn’t seem to help much. The game quickly becomes running around and doing work without much reward, in my opinion.
When it comes to the chocolates you can create, there are many options and packaging styles, which I like. The art style of the game is very unique, so I give credit for that. But sadly the game play is just too dull for me.
I’m giving this game a 2/5 star rating overall.
