How to Unlock the Water Seal in the Mines in Fields of Mistria
Upon reaching floor 20 in the mines, you will come across a stone tablet and the water seal. The water seal blocks the way to the lower floors of the mine.
In order to unlock the water seal, you must supply the stone tablet with a Stone Loach, Upper Mines Mushroom, Ruby and Lantern Moth.
Finding the items to unlock the Water Seal
Stone Loach – This is a fish that can be caught in the water/fishing spots of the mines (I had luck between floors 5 – 10).
Upper Mines Mushroom can be found and collected in the mines (I’ve had luck between mine floors 5-10)
Ruby: Rubies can be found easily as they are rocks with red spots, and can be found on the first few floors of the mine. In the screenshot I found the ruby rock on floor 3.
Lantern Moth: You can find lantern moths flying around in the mines. I’ve had luck finding lantern moths between floors 5 – 10. The spawn rate of items is randomized, and sometimes it can be tricky to come across lantern moths. I’ve had success finding them in summer.
With all 4 items in your inventory, you can offer to the stone tablet (you can do this as you find items, you do not have to do it all at once). When all 4 items have been offered the Water Seal will be unlocked, showing stairs down. Take these stairs to get to lower floors.
