Hytale Released Update 2

Since the Early Access release of Hytale on January 13th, 2026, we’ve already seen 2 major updates released! The devs have been actively working and taking feedback to add improvements, changes and new elements! The new update comes with a ton of changes that you can read all about in their blog!

Hytale Updates!

There are a bunch of new cosmetics available to everyone with a standard edition. Now we can show off those cosmetics in servers with the “hide armor” option! The screenshots below do not show all of the added cosmetics.

New items added include necromancy, raising skeletal minions from nearby bone piles.

Improvements to gameplay include faster mining based on the quality of your pickaxe.

More decorative items including lights. Changes to crafting include: petals can now be crafted and there are more cloth variants

Adjustments to enemies, buffed polar bear and the Magma Toad has been adjusted.

Numerous World Generation changes that you read more about at Hytale’s blog.

Ore placement has been changed, and is noticeable in new worlds, or in new chunks (if playing in an old world). There is now more ores in the Devastated Lands underground.

Farming improvements include increased tilled soil lifetime, eternal crops will no longer break, fixed soil decay and changes to the hoe and crafting at the farming bench.

User Interface improvements have been made just as making the hotbar active slot more visible, tool tip improvements, and more.

There is a lengthy list of bug fixes, along with sound and overall gameplay improvements.
