My Review of Cassette Boy

Cassette Boy is a puzzle action RPG, where you advance through the game by changing the perspective. I am not typically a puzzle genre gamer, so I did find this game a bit challenging at times with lack of direction and no map. However, with the pixels, the colors and the music, the game gives you a cozy and relaxed experience. Hiding objects in the way to walk through passages, activating switches and spinning the world to damage enemies, the game does have enough different elements to keep it interesting, if you are typically into puzzle type games. My rating of this game is a 2 star, as I found the game dull after a couple hours from the repetitive music and lackluster scenes.

Cassette Boy worth buying?

The game is available to purchase on Steam. If you are looking to get the game, I’d suggest picking it up during a sale or in a bundle, as I don’t see the full price being worth it, in comparison to other games you can get in that price range.

Rating: 2 out of 5.
